ストルバイト撃退中
カウちゃんのオシッコにストルバイト結晶がぁ・・・。
先月半ばくらいにやっと簡単に尿検査ができるようにトイレ環境が整ったのでさっそくカウの尿検査を開始。
カウ、いつ検査してもオシッコのpHが７以上で最高は8.5とかなり高め・・・。
この状態はまずいだろうなぁと思って病院で検査してもらったら、やっぱりストルバイト結晶が出てるとの診断。
小さめの結晶が微量ってことだけど、結晶が大きくなったり結石になったりしたら大変なのでとにかくpHを弱酸性の状態で安定させないと。
ってことで、ストルバイト撃退大作戦。
今は、ゼンラーゼっていう尿酸化サプリメントと病院でもらった「pHコントロール」をお試し中。
ゼンラーゼ+普通のご飯だと6.5以下までは下がらないから、とりあえず「pHコントロール」で様子見かなぁ。
pHコントロールって、1も2もかなりナトリウム値が高いから長期間食べさせるのはなんだか心配。どうか一袋でpHが下がりますように・・・☆
にしても、症状が出る前に見つけてあげれて良かったぁ。
検査って大事だ。

ディアは結局「ニャンともトイレ」はトイレとして認めてくれなかった・・・。
